Ju Ming is a Taiwanese sculptor working in a wide range of materials including wood, bronze, styrofoam, ceramics and glass. This work is one of Ju’s series sculpting works on the theme of taichi, inspired by the physical practice and mental discipline of this ancient art of boxing. This arch is an abstract form of tuishou, pushing hands, a two-person training routine in taichi.
