The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries
Three parallel bands of identical design, but a switch in colour. The two outer bands black diamonds and diagonal lines, while the centre band has black linked diamonds and the identical narrow bands, but embroidered with red details.
A flat (run-and-fell) seam is at right angles to a tacked hem.
