The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

A band with two medallions, each with a flower containing a trefoil. There are two tendrils in the spave between the medallions. The floral shape and band background are worked in blue slanted filling stitch, with outlines done in brown double running stitch.

There is a carefully sewn rolled hem along one side parallel to the band. Along the opposite side are remains of silk stitching and a line of three rows of running stitch done in undyed flax thread.
