    The Barlow Collection

The small dish is of square shape, slightly concave and with rounded sides and indented corners. The low foot is also of squared rounded form. The piece is heavily potted, the inside incised with a pair of fish circling around each other, surrounded by four lotus plants with a large bloom on each side and a leaf in each corner. The reverse is plain, the pale yellowish-green glaze shows some crazing inside and fully covers the piece. It adheres in a thinner layer on the footring which shows eight uneven spurmarks.
