    The Barlow Collection

The large conical bowl has an inward curved rim and a somewhat pointed base and stands on a narrow, straight, thickly potted foot. It is covered with an opaque dark grey-green glaze with an attractive glassy crackle, which fades to a transparent mushroom-brown at the rim, and covers the base, but leaves most of the footring and small patches around it free. The biscuit has fired a dark reddish brown.
