The Barlow Collection
The piece consists of a shallow, flat tray with flared angled sides, and a tall slender stem flaring towards a wide foot, which is hollowed out underneath. The beige-coloured stoneware is glazed with a green-tinged transparent glaze, which adheres in a thick, crackled glassy layer around the inner edge of the tray, and leaves the underside of the stem free.
