The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries
Two bands of a continuous tendril with trefoils and leaves, both with narrow borders. The embroidery provides the background.
The two bands are joined together with a flat, open seam. The fragment was part of a belt or scarf and has a selvedge along one side, and a rolled seam along the other.
