The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries
Two separate bands with interlocking triangular patterns and narrow borders of interlace braiding. The embroidery defines the background.
The fragment has a selvedge on one side, and on the side parallel to it a rolled seam. The two bands run at right angles between the seam and selvedge.
