Three closely set, parallel bands are at right angles to a fourth band. All four bands have the same design of lozenges linked at an angle, and half diamonds in between; all bands also have the same border with a continuous row of stylized plants.

There is also a silk band woven into the fabric, with red and narrow black stripes. The silk is much finer than the flax, so that the threads are woven in unplied pairs. The textile fragment is very fine and obviously of luxury quality.
