The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries
A wide band is filled with alternating blue and brown rows of chevrons. The chevrons contain S-shapes and have small diamond finials. The band has an interlace border in blue.
The band fills the entire length of the fragment. It is at right angles to a rolled hem whipped with flax thread.
