The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries
A band with a square containing a medallion with a four-armed spiral.
The main embroidery is double running stitch in blue; only the background of the square and spiral is filled with pulled work with white wrapping stitch worked in horizontal rows . All four fragments of EA1984.427 were once part of the same cloth.
