The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

Band of linked diamonds, each with a small diamond at the centre. Along either side is a narrow border band. The diamonds are three-quarter dark blue, then the thread switches to light blue. The narrow borders have light blue embroidery, with the exception of a single dark blue line.

The dark blue embroidery thread seems to be cotton, the light blue may be flax. The latter is embroidered in a strand containing three threads.
