    The Barlow Collection

The well-potted jar is of even ovoid form, with a splayed solid foot with flat base, and a short neck surrounded by four double-stranded loop handles, which are attached over two incised concentric lines. The off-white stoneware body bears a transparent glaze with a faint greenish tinge and a dense overall crackle, the lowest part was left free of glaze.
