The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

A central red band of linked rhombic shapes, each containing a red motif, and a small blue design next to it; both are too small or deteriorated to identify further. On either side of the red band are wide brown borders, beginning with an interlace braid followed by a saw-tooth band and a row of angular plants.

The entire band and border are 8.5 cm wide. The textile is very fragmentary and has several torn pieces sewn together, all crudely stitched.
