    The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

    Two bands set at right angles to each other and with the same design of linked diamonds stitched in red embroidery. The embroidery defines the outline. One of the bands also has a single line of blue stitching as a border.

    The bands are 1.5 cm wide. There are the remains of a rolled hem sewn with silk.
