    The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

    A central band with diamonds and diagonal spirals; along either side is a border with stylized tendrils.

    A single line of spaced cross stitches runs along one of the long sides; a rolled hem is sewn along the other, covered with blue silk overcast edging. There are traces of edging along one of the short sides.
