The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

Two bands with narrow diagonal stripes placed approximately 2 cm apart. The stripes are made up of a single line of dots bordered by a blue line. The wider band is parallel and close to a hem. In addition there is the beginning of a continuous field of small birds, crested and with a curving tail.

    A stitched hem.
