The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

Two bands at right angles, one crossing over the other, and each containing a row of complex diamonds, inverted hooks, and triangles; a narrow border runs along either side. The bands are approximately 5 cm wide.

The remains of a plain linen fabric are sewn along one of the borders. There may also be a selvedge at the edge of this band.
