The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

An overall pattern of linked diamonds of three different sizes. The two larger diamonds contain a grid pattern with further diamonds; all have a surround of hook-shapes. The embroidery defines the design.

A border embroidered in a single line of spaced cross stitch runs along one side. Almost all the embroidery is dark blue, but there are two single lines of brown.
