A large pink arabesque against a blue background covers almost the entire fragment. There also is the beginning of a band with a narrow arabesque or vine, in the same colour combination.

The entire ground fabric was originally filled with slanted counted filling stitches, of which some are worked in diagonal rows, while others follow the lines of the design.
