A wide band contains linked hexagons and squares, framed by hook motifs. One hexagon holds an angular reversed s-shape, the other a spiral with four arms. On each side of the wide band is a narrow border band with small s-shapes and dots; the same band is repeated a third time near one side of the fragment. The bands are at right angles to the selvedge.
