The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

Three narrow parallel bands contain a star alternating with a hexagon with geometric shapes; between two of them is a single chevron made up from S-shapes and a large rhombic shape filled with a cluster of small diamonds. All designs are defined by very fine blue darning stitches worked over a single thread; in addition there are remains of pulled work done in yellow (undyed) wrapping stitch worked in diagonal rows.

Two of the narrow bands are very deteriorated. A flat run-and-fell seam divides the fragment, and there is a rolled hem along two sides.
