    The Newberry Collection of Islamic Embroideries

    A circular shape is covered with openwork embroidery, with red circles and a grid of linked blue rhombics and squares against a background of yellow.

    The fabric has a hem and separately sewn on piping for a draw string to be passed through. It was probably used as a small purse or seal bag.
