Terraced hillside in Hebei

  • loan
  • Description

This hillside is shown in early morning light in late autumn. It is one of many drawings unwrapped in late 2012 after 20 years parcelled up in storage at Peking University. Xu Bing left a number of works there before his departure for the USA in 1990. They were removed to an outhouse where some unfortunately sustained water damage.
